CBSE- Faculty Development Programme

A Workshop on ‘Remodelled Structure of Assessment’ was conducted for the CBSE school teachers. The resource people for the day nominated by CBSE Centre of Excellence were Mr. Rajendra Malwal, Principal, Bhagwati International Public School, Patan and Mrs. Ranjana Rajput, Principal, Shree Narayan Central School, Ahmedabad. They catered to all the aspects of Remodelled Structure of Assessment for the Secondary classes such as periodic tests, notebooks assessment, internal assessments etc. They also emphasized on the parameters of assessment for co-scholastic areas such as Games and Sports, Health and Fitness, Social Empowerment through Work Education and Action and Health. They elaborated on how the school should take student’s regularity, sincerity, behaviour and values for the assessment on discipline. The session ended with a questionnaire which was very useful and knowledgeable. A total of 60 teachers attended the workshop. They reached home with a sense of contentment for the enrichment they received during the day.

Microsoft Innovative Educators Workshop (ATL)

“The capacity to learn is a gift, the ability to learn is a skill , the willingness to learn is a choice”.

Educators had a three hour Microsoft Workshop to be the Microsoft Innovative Educators. It was conducted by Mr.Sahil Siddiquie, Ambassador of Microsoft . All different types of tools of Microsoft were introduced to teachers like Sway,Skype Classroom session and conducting Virtual Field Trips. Teachers learned how to use Microsoft tools in the classroom and the fundamentals of applying technology in education. This was the first step on an exciting journey of joining a professional network of enthusiastic educators who come together to learn, share and grow. Teachers also had a live Skype classroom interaction with Soman Singh from D.P.S Ghaziabad, Delhi.
